Denplan Care allows you to spread the cost of your routine dental treatments into affordable monthly payments, meaning you won't receive any unexpected bills or surprises. This plan covers your regular consultations and hygiene visits, as well as any restorative treatment you receive. Denplan Care also includes worldwide dental injury and 24-hour emergency cover (supplementary insurance).

The amount that you pay on Denplan Care will be decided by your dentist, according to how much treatment you need and your dental history. You will receive an initial consultation, after which you will be placed into one of five fee categories.

denplan care covers:

Should you choose to be covered by Denplan's Care package, your monthly payments will cover any routine or restorative dental care, including:
  • Check-ups
  • Hygiene treatments (includ. scaling and polishing)
  • Dental x-rays
  • Necessary fillings (Including white fillings as appropriate)
  • Preventive dental advice and therapy
  • Necessary extractions
  • Periodontal treatment
  • Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (exclude any laboratory fees)
  • Root canal treatment

denplan care doesn't cover:

Denplan Care does not generally cover any dental care or treatment that goes outside of the routine or restorative bracket. Treatments not covered on Denplan care include:
  • Laboratory fees
  • Referral to a specialist
  • Treatment that is carried out by anyone other than your registered dentist, except in case of emergency
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatments
Please note that your routine dental treatments are at the discretion of your dentist - your care contract is with them, and not with Denplan.

denplan essentials 

Denplan Essentials is a dental plan that helps you budget for any preventive dental care that you might need, helping you to identify and prevent any problems before they can develop. On Denplan Essentials, you will be covered for your regular dental consultations and hygienist visits, as well as worldwide emergency and injury cover. 

Additionally, you will receive a 15% discount on any treatment you receive. Even better, you can sign up for Denplan Essentials as soon as you have completed your new patient consultation - no pre-assessment is necessary. Your dentist will decide how often you should be seen and will charge you accordingly.

denplan essentials covers:

  • Check-ups (frequency will be determined in your care contract)
  • Scaling, polishing and any other hygiene treatments 
  • Dental x-rays
  • Any additional treatments specified by your dentist in your care contract
  • Preventive dental advice and consultations
On Denplan Essentials, you will receive 15% off most dental treatments, and you will be covered for any preventive care. 

denplan essentials doesn't cover:

  • Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at your dentist's discretion)
  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment that isn't included in your care contract
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment 
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
  • Sedation fees
Please note that routine treatment is covered at the discretion of your dentist and not Denplan.
