Q: What should I expect on my first visit to the practice?

A: As a new patient, we work to put your concerns and fears to rest. Our friendly and welcoming team will take the time to talk about your existing dental routine and issues, walking you through the available treatment options and setting up regular check-ups. The dentist that you consult with during your first visit will continue to work with you long after this initial examination, letting you build up a sense of trust and familiarity.

Q: I’m a nervous patient, what can you do to help me?

A: We believe that building relationships with our patients is key to putting your mind at ease. We are fully transparent about every detail of our procedures and we ensure that you can always make a well-informed decision. Our practice and brand-new decontamination suite are designed to be as relaxing and clean as possible, eliminating any risk of infection. Our team have years of experience and St. John’s Hill Dental Practice holds the British Dental Association Good Practice award as well as the UKAS-accredited Denplan Excel Award. We are one of the very few practices in Shropshire to hold these two awards, so you are in definitely in safe hands with us. All members of our team have experience dealing with more nervous patients, so we know how to put you at ease and make sure you are as comfortable as possible.

Q: Can my children join this practice on the nhs?

A: Yes! We do have a small NHS contract that serves children and other exempt groups. Consult with our experts to discuss dental plans and options that will ensure your child's oral health is maintained and improved. Our care is always gentle yet fully effective.

For orthodontics in children, we refer to a local consultant orthodontic specialist, in order to ensure that your child gets the very best specialist attention for any of their orthodontic needs. In most cases, these specialist services are available on the NHS.

Some parents prefer that their children are seen privately or on Denplan. This is available at St John's Hill Dental Practice.
